I feel more free just looking at it

Love south Austin. Curra’s should really be mini only parking.

Mmmm. I wanna eat there. Awesome tacos?

All I can see is the potential door ding in progress. Please no!

Ooooo, looks like a mk1 Cooper S; very nice
(And holy hell are hummer so massive; the mini would fit in the back, easily)

Funnily enough I already posted about a car in British plates rolling around the US today http://oppositelock.kinja.com/dear-american-…

Oh my god the roof of that Mini is lower than the belt line of that crossover.

Good tacos. Better seafood. The cochinita pibil is great too.

Oooh, that sounds good! I wish we had better options up here in Erie.

Is that the shuttlecraft for the mothership?

Whats funny is that the H2 still has a better power to weight ratio.
18.8 lbs/hp for the H2 (assuming a late model 6.2) and 25.45 lbs/hp (assuming a mark I S) Even the slowest H2 is only 20.3 lbs/hp. perspective.

Ooooh. I keep meaning to try out Curra’s, but it’s all the way down *points* there.
Good eatin’? “Better seafood” has my hopes up.

Holy shit!
Also, my favorite restaurant in Austin, hands down. You ever want to go again, let me go, I’ll drop work to come.

We’ll incorporate it into the Alfa test drive.
At this point all I need to do it install a few Helicoils in the head because I stripped the bolt holes for the right side of the fuel rail. Then get the CO emissions down to a non-lethal level. Probably get the timing reset. New plugs. You know... an easy weekend.

It is of course, still uglier than an exploded ass.

meh, I don’t mind it... but being an off road vehicle I feel looks are secondary considerations.

Curra’s is alright. Licha’s on E. 6th is pretty rad. Headed there in an hour. Fonda San Miguel in Rosedale though... that’s my jam.

As well you should.

I love Curra’s. Can’t say that it’s the best in Austin, but I still love it. And the fish is good.

Keep it in the trunk with some ramps for when the Hummer breaks down, and then boom, drive to freedom! Mothership that action!

Do you know where the picture is from?
![]() 02/19/2016 at 19:41 |

Iceland, I think. They have to use trucks like that to get into the interior of the country.

Aw snap. Fonda is close. Dangerously close. Stef is OK to drive there close. Or can order from Favor without it getting cold close.
Gonna have to satisfy my need for Mexican food sooner or later.

Door ding? If the Hummer door smacks the Mini, the Mini is going to be punted like a football. :P
